About Bawden
Bawden was started just a couple of miles from our current Amesbury premises by our managing director Richard Bawden back in the late seventies. Since then it has grown into the Bawden Group, which encompasses a commercial grounds maintenance and tree surgery division, and our domestic garden and tree care service.
Richard’s wife, Nicola, works full time in the company as a director and Company Secretary. Her brother, Richard Stone, is Finance Director and his wife, Melanie, handles our payroll and personnel issues. As a family owned company our staff are our greatest strength and several have many years’ service with the company, working tirelessly to deliver a professional and friendly service to each and every one of our customers.
When you call our Amesbury office your call is likely to be taken by Denise Maidment, our very capable and helpful office administrator. She will direct your enquiry to our Tree Surgery Supervisor, Matt Loader, or to our garden care supervisor, Alan Stevens. If you live in the Swindon area and call our Swindon number it will be Stuart Honaker who takes your enquiry.
